Find out how to rearrange the icons on the PS Vita system's home screen and give it a fresh look.
The home screen is the starting point for all your adventures on PS Vita and you can tailor it to suit your preferences using these handy hints.
Moving icons
Once you switch on your PS Vita system, press and hold any icon on the home screen to bring up edit mode. You can now hold an icon and drag it to a different position on the same page, or drag it to one of the other pages.
Refreshing pages

Tap the options button (1) on any icon to bring up information on an icon or to delete it from a page, select Add a Page (2) to insert a new page on the home screen or touch the Background Settings icon (3) to choose a new background for whichever page you are on.

For the background, you can choose any of the options pre-installed on the PS Vita system or select the camera folder to view images you have captured using the PS Vita system's front and rear cameras. You can also select any in-game images that you have previously captured and saved to this folder - you can take screenshots of most games by pressing the PS button and the START button at the same time whilst playing.
Finally, if you really want to let your imagination run wild, you can create an image on a PC or a PS3 system and transfer it to PS Vita using Content Manager Assistant for PlayStation. You'll then be able to set this as the background on a PS Vita home screen page by following the steps above.
