All you need to know about importing video to PSP.
You can transfer video files to Memory Stick Duo for viewing at your leisure on PSP. The best way to do this is using the Media Go for PSP software.
Please note that PSP supports MPEG-4 and AVC formats only on Memory Stick Duo.
Format Memory Stick Duo
You must format a Memory Stick Duo before using it with your PSP. Doing so will create the necessary folders for storing, and viewing, media files on the Memory Stick Duo.
Any existing data on the Memory Stick Duo will be erased during the process, so ensure that you have made a back-up of any files that you wish to keep before proceeding.
Video files are stored on your Memory Stick Duo within a folder called '100MNV01', and this sits within a specific folder called 'MP_ROOT'. This folder will be created automatically when you format your Memory Stick Duo using the latest PSP system software version.
Transfer video
Video files must be in the correct format in order to be played back on PSP.
You can copy video files from a PC to a Memory Stick Duo in several different ways:
If your PC has a Memory Stick Duo slot, you can save files directly to the Memory Stick Duo. If the slot only accepts a standard-size Memory Stick, you will need a Memory Stick Duo Adaptor (model number MSAC-M2, a Sony product sold separately).
Alternatively, you may transfer files to a Memory Stick Duo inserted into your PSP via a standard USB cable, or to a Memory Stick Duo inserted into a Memory Stick USB reader/writer.
Note: PSP can not play video data converted at bit rates higher than 768kbps
