Outputting video from game titles to a TV
In addition to progressive video, you can output video from UMD games and PlayStation format software in interlace mode to a TV.
Cables that can be used to output video from UMD games and PlayStation format software:
Adjusting the colour range for video output
[Color Space] is an option under System Settings that lets you set the colour range for video output on the PSP system.
Normal: Set to display video using the same colour range as for PSP-1000/PSP-2000 series systems.
Wide: Set to display video in more vivid colours than when set to [Normal].
Flicker Reduction
[Flicker Reduction] is an option under [Connected Display Settings] that allows you to reduce flickering when video from PSP format software is output to a TV in interlace mode.
Off: Set to not reduce flickering.
On: Set to reduce flickering.
