Pick up these must-have games for less starting in June 2010.

PSP Essentials is a range of top PSP games re-released at low prices to give you access to great titles.

The selection encompasses everything from car chases and planet-hopping capers to general knowledge challenges and schoolboy wizardry and arrives in June 2010 in Europe and PAL territories with a launch line-up of 20 games, and with many more titles to follow.

The price may be small but the games themselves are first-rate, with titles from acclaimed and best-selling series including Ratchet & Clank, Ben 10 Alien Force, EA SPORTS FIFA 09, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Spongebob Yellow Avenger and WipEout Pulse.

Available at an affordable price in shops and to download from PlayStation Store, new PSP gamers can build collections quickly while seasoned PSP fans can further expand their library.

"Releasing PSP Essentials makes sure that every PSP gamer, and younger newcomers in particular, can get their hands on the best portable gaming experiences at affordable prices," said Isabelle Tomatis, European Product Marketing Manager, Hardware and Platforms, at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. "Combined with the other things PSP can do, like music, movies and chat, this makes PSP a really attractive choice for handheld entertainment."

The first wave of PSP Essentials features 20 titles in all, and more games will be available every three months. Titles arriving in June 2010 are:

  • Daxter
  • Everybody's Golf
  • LocoRoco
  • MediEvil: Resurrection
  • Pursuit Force
  • Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters
  • Secret Agent Clank
