Follow these instructions to download and install the app to your PlayStation Certified smartphone or tablet.
If you own a PlayStation Certified smartphone running Android OS version 4.4.2 and below, you can download PlayStation®Mobile for Android directly to your device by going to playstation.com/psm/store and following the on-screen instructions. Find out how here.
1. Confirm your device allows installation of PlayStation®Mobile for Android
Go to Settings and locate Unknown Sources which is usually found under Security on tablet devices or Applications on smartphones.
If Unkown Sources is unchecked, tap the checkbox to select it and confirm.
2. Download the PlayStation Mobile for Android app
On your PlayStation Certified device, visit playstation.com/psm/store to download the PSM app.
3. Install PlayStation Mobile for Android
Once the download is complete, install it by tapping the icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen on your tablet or by selecting it from the status bar on your smartphone.
Once installed, open the app to to start browsing the full range of PlayStation Mobile content.
PlayStation Mobile content will only be available to download to PlayStation Certified devices running Android version 4.4.2 or below, or a PlayStation Vita system. Devices updated to Android L or higher will no longer have access to new content via PlayStation Store.
