What is PlayStation Mobile?

Launched on 3 October 2012, PlayStation Mobile is a service that delivers fun-packed and innovative games for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Certified devices via the easy to use PlayStation Store interface.

How many devices can I download PlayStation Mobile content to?

When you purchase PlayStation Mobile content, you can download it onto any combination of PlayStation Vita systems and PlayStation Certified devices linked to your Sony Entertainment Network account up to a maximum of three in total. 

What games are available?

There is a wide range of PlayStation Mobile games available spanning popular genres such as adventure, action, puzzle, sports and simulations. New games are regularly added so keep checking back for the latest titles.

Where is PlayStation Mobile available?

PlayStation Mobile is currently available in the following Sony Computer Entertainment Europe countries: Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom.

What devices are compatible with PlayStation Mobile content?

All PlayStation Mobile content is compatible with PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Certified devices. Visit playstation.com/psm/certified.html to view compatible devices.

How do I buy PlayStation Mobile content?

To purchase PlayStation Mobile games, you need a Sony Entertainment Network account as well as sufficient funds in your Sony Entertainment Network wallet, a PlayStation Network Card to add funds, or a credit or debit card linked to your account for automatic funding.

Visit eu.playstation.com/registration to create a Sony Entertainment Network account if you do not have one already.

You can purchase PlayStation Mobile content on PS Vita by going to the PlayStation Mobile section within PlayStation Store. For PlayStation Certified device, there are several ways you can access PlayStation Mobile content - visit eu.playstation.com/ps-mobile-for-android to find out which method is best for you.

How do I activate a device on my Sony Entertainment Network account?

To activate your PlayStation Vita or PlayStation Certified devices using your Sony Entertainment Network account, access PlayStation Store or PlayStation®Mobile for Android from the device you would like to activate, sign in to your Sony Entertainment Network account and download content to the device.

How do I deactivate a device linked to my Sony Entertainment Network account?

You can only have up to a total of three PS Vita systems and PlayStation Certified devices linked to your account.

To deactivate your PS Vita go to Settings > [PlayStation®Network] > [System Activation] and tap [Deactivate].

To deactivate a PlayStation Certified device, select [Menu] in PlayStation®Mobile for Android on the device you wish to deactivate and go to Settings > [Device Activation] > [Deactivate].

Device deactivation is only available on the device itself. Therefore, if your device is lost or broken, you will need to wait for your device to automatically deactivate after 30 days.

If you deactivate your device from your account or delete PlayStation®Mobile for Android from your device and later choose to reactivate the device or re-download the app, you will need to re-download your content from your Download List. Your game save data cannot be retrieved.

Can I share or transfer content purchased from PlayStation Mobile?

You can download your games from your Download List to a total of up to three of your PS Vita systems and PlayStation Certified devices provided they are linked to and activated on your Sony Entertainment Network account.

You can download games from your Download List to your activated devices as many times as you like.

If you would like to access content on a new device you will need to activate the device on your Sony Entertainment Network account. If you already have three devices linked to your account, you will need to deactivate a device before you can activate a new device.

A user profile on a device can only be activated to one Sony Entertainment Network account. If another user signs into their Sony Entertainment Network from your device profile, their Download List will become available and your content will no longer be available to download. If content is downloaded to the device from their Download List, this will activate the device to their Sony Entertainment Network account and deactivate the device from your account. To access your Download List, the device will need to be reactivated against your Sony Entertainment Network account.

What do I do if a game is faulty or the content is inappropriate?

If you would like to report content, go to the product page within PlayStation Store or PlayStation®Mobile for Android, select [Report as Inappropriate Content] and follow the on-screen instructions.

Sony Computer Entertainment will investigate the issue and take appropriate measures.

Please note that this function is only to report a problem with content. Any problems regarding the conduct of other Sony Entertainment Network users should be reported through the PlayStation grief reporting system - find out more at eu.playstation.com on PC.

Can I continue to play my PS one Classics titles?

PS one Classics will continue to be available for PS Vita from PlayStation Store. However, they will no longer be available to buy for PlayStation Certified devices. Any PS one Classics you have previously purchased will continue to be downloadable from your Download List and can be played on your PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Certified devices.

However, as your device software is upgraded, you will eventually find that your PS one Classics will no longer be compatible. The dates that this will happen will vary across countries and will differ across devices. More information will become available with each update.

How long is my purchase valid?

The licence for your content is valid when used with the account on which the purchase was made as long as the device remains activated using the same account details. If the device is deactivated either by the user or due to not connecting to the Internet for 30 consecutive days, the licence will expire. This means that you will be unable to access the content until the device is reactivated using your account details.

To ensure that the licence does not expire, licence verification will happen automatically at regular intervals as long as your device is connected to the Internet. If the licence expires, you cannot play any PlayStation Mobile games you have downloaded.
