Find out which new character, of the many submitted by Forum members at eu.playstation.com, is to be made available as a download from PlayStation Store (PS3).

Folklore is the mystery action adventure title exclusive to PlayStation 3 that has captured the imagination thanks to its combination of lush visuals and unique gameplay.

Playing as one of two main characters, the game sees you journey into the Netherworld, an otherworldly realm populated by spirit creatures known as Folks. Defeating the Folks and assimilating their powers helps you progress until you reach your final goal.

To mark the launch of the game, Forum members at eu.playstation.com were asked to submit their designs for a brand new Folk, to be made available as a download for the game at a later date from PlayStation Store (PS3).

With over 200 entries, the development team responsible for the game at Game Republic had no shortage of Folk to pick from when selecting the winner.

So congratulations to Jeff R from the United Kingdom whose entry Malion scooped the first prize, a copy of the game plus a Folklore goody bag. Jeff's design will also be turned into a real Folk, downloadable from PlayStation Store (PS3), that other players will be able to fight and capture in-game.

Describing his design, Jeff commented: "The Malion (Spore Lion) runs circles around the enemy whilst creating an intoxicating spore cloud from its tail and thorny mane. When the prey is dazed the Malion jumps in for the kill. The tail and claws are primary attacks, but this Folk is highly poisonous... wear protective gloves! The Malion fears fire."

Well done to the runners up who each receive a copy of the game as well as a Folklore goody bag: Changelin by Stéphanie D (France); Legia by Clayonite (UK); Mordremohrg by Kieran S (Australia); and, Nrise by Israel A (Spain).
