PlayStation Store (PC) launches

PSP®

A new platform for PSP downloadable content is launching across PAL territories today.

This month sees the launch of PlayStation Store for PC, the PC browsable version of PlayStation Store for PSP owners. From here you can access a range of content exclusive to PSP.

In short, it is everything you need to take your PSP experience to the next level. Best of all, access to the site is free, there is no purchase necessary and no subscription required.

PlayStation Store (PC) is launching with a great line-up of exclusive full games, including Beats and Go! Puzzle, with flOw and Syphon Filter: Combat Ops following in December. In addition there are free playable demos for titles such as WipEout Pulse and Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow, plus game and move trailers, and themes. There are also a range of downloadable versions of existing PSP UMD games such as B-Boy, Fired Up and Go! Sudoku, as well as PS one classics such as WipEout, Crash Bandicoot and Jumping Flash.

Registering for your first download is easy, if you don't already have a PlayStation Network Account just visit store.playstation.com and follow the on-screen instructions to create one.

When you first download content from PlayStation Store (PC), you will need to install the PlayStation Network Downloader on your PC. This free software handles the transfer of content from PlayStation Store (PC) to your PSP, so, once installed, it is simply a case of connecting your PSP to your PC via a USB cable and you're off.
