Pennies from heaven
In Coin Toss you have to flick a limited number of coins on to a raised platform with different scoring areas. If your coin lands on a score target, you earn points.
The key to scoring highly in Coin Toss is timing. Never release your coin too early, as it won't have enough power to reach the platform. So release it as late as you can and with a medium amount of power in your throw so it doesn't overshoot the board.
Want to go for a big score? The best way to hit the elusive 80 points target is to throw overhand and bounce your coin off the back of the wall behind the 50 points target. The coin should eventually slide back down towards your goal. Good shot!
Cool hand Luke
Shooting Gallery has you picking up a popgun and knocking down dozens of moving targets within a set time limit. Only a steady hand can hit each target's bullseye.
Although the clock is ticking, you have unlimited ammo so don't spare any shots and keep replaying the game to learn where the targets pop up. The secret to Shooting Gallery is to rapidly take down the targets, so that more pop back up. Remember, speed and accuracy are the only ways to get a high score.
If you're sharp enough to shoot down all the bottles and cans, you'll see a cuddly raccoon appear for a short time - take it down and you'll bag yourself a great points bonus.
How to become a ring master
Rockets is all about accuracy. Throw your rings to circle the rockets on the table and see your score lift off! The PlayStation Move motion controller is so precise that it will pick up on any shaky throws, making your ring wobble in the air, so make your throwing motions as smooth as possible.
Try switching between the T button and Move button when throwing, to see which is most comfortable for you. Once you've found which is easiest to use, aim for the biggest rockets on the board - they carry the most points and launch the smaller rockets around them as well.
Hop to it
Flying Frogs requires you to master two techniques - launching your frogs and then guiding them to the lily pad once they're in the air. It's a brilliantly fun-filled game which takes time to master.
The best way to get into the swing of things is to try launching a frog with a hard strike first. This will fire the adorable frog into the air for longer, giving you more time to control its flight.
If you slip and only shoot the frog a short distance, don't worry - aim for the nearest toadstool and it will bounce back into the air. Even if you only graze a lily pad you'll still earn some points.
If you're used to shooting basketballs you'll be right at home with Triple Threat. As the only multiplayer game in the Carnival Island demo, it's the best way to earn bragging rights over your friends and family.
Triple Threat is like noughts and crosses with hoops. By successfully sinking a basket, it will glow with your chosen colour. Line up a row of three and you will earn big points, so play strategically and always aim for the middle basket first to increase your scoring options.
If you're not very confident with your shooting, aim for the higher positioned baskets - even if you miss them there's a chance a rebound will go through one of the lower nets, so keep trying and you'll soon develop the skills to become a carnival king or queen.
