Coming to your screens new and improved, PlayStation Store (PS3) has had a makeover just for you.
PlayStation Store (PS3) on PlayStation Network boasts a host of fresh and enhanced features across its new design, interface and navigation in response to feedback from the millions of PSN registrants in the PAL region.
As of April 15, 2008, your PlayStation 3 system will gain a system software update when it goes online, upgrading to version 2.30 and allowing you to access the redesigned PlayStation Store (PS3) which benefits from an array of features.
Included in this revamp is a new page layout and interface for easier navigation, permitting users to move between pages faster by pressing the X and circle buttons. You can now also view your Sony Entertainment Network account avatar on the pages of PlayStation Store (PS3) and the content status display page has been given icons to indicate the status of each item, showing you what has been purchased and what is currently in your checkout cart. This revamp will not affect Sony Entertainment Network accounts or the virtual wallet system, so you can take advantage of all these treats and trimmings without needing to change a thing.
System software update version 2.30 also allows Blu-ray Disc playback to support DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS-HD High Resolution Audio output - so not only are you getting the best from the Store, but also superb enhancements to your movies as well.
With all this, a fantastic range of downloadable software and more awaiting you, there's never been a better time to get online with PlayStation Network. What are you waiting for?
