An introduction to Games on PlayStation 3

Find out more about accessing PS3 Home Menu features during gameplay.

You can access the PS3 Home Menu screen while playing PlayStation 3 format software.

If you press the PS button during gameplay, the PS3 Home Menu screen will be displayed. From the screen you can create and send messages under Friends and use some other PS3 Home Menu functions.

Hints:

• Only some of the PS3 Home Menu functions can be used during gameplay.
• If you press the PS button for more than two seconds, the screen showing options to quit the game, turn off the system and other settings will be displayed.
• The PS3 Home Menu screen is not displayed when you are playing PlayStation 2 or PlayStation format software.
• The PS3 Home Menu screen cannot be displayed when you are playing certain PlayStation 3 format software titles.
