Go beyond the game with great new Folklore download packs, available exclusively from PlayStation Network.

One of the most atmospheric and involving titles of 2007, Folklore is a third-person action/adventure game that draws heavily on Irish horror stories and folk legends to create a magical, supernaturally unsettling world full of faeries and demons.

The game isn't limited to what you get on the disc however, thanks to some great downloadable content packs, available exclusively from PlayStation Store (PS3). The latest pack to go up lets you unleash the power of Malion, a brand new Folk designed by Jeff Read from the UK, and winner of the Create A Folk competition run on eu.playstation.com in October 2007. Malion proves a mighty addition to the amazing collection of Folk found in the game, and is a fearsome beast, known for its ability to create an intoxicating and poisonous spore cloud from its tail and thorny mane. So handle Malion with care, and use protective gloves!

Download this free pack today to get the extra Folk, Malion, to add to your collection.

And that's not all. If you've missed them, there are many other exciting download packs available to extend your adventures in Doolin.

The Kidnapped Folk Pack adds another layer to the Folklore mystery with four new side quests. Set during the time frame of the original story, this is your opportunity to return to Doolin, gateway to the Netherworld, and take Ellen and Keats' extraordinary adventure a little bit further. The quests include a mission to recapture a kidnapped Folk and an attempt to regain the trust of Brumbear's soldiers.

The Under the Sea Pack includes four more additional side quests, where you'll search the seabed for a mysterious item requested by Damona, get to the bottom of an accident that takes place in the Endless Corridor and complete the Wandering Thoughts mission started in the Kidnapped Folk Pack.

In The Alchemist Pack, Ellen heads for Undersea City in search of her mother, whilst other quests will find you collecting stones for a mysterious alchemy experiment and clearing away the Folks who are blocking the Elevator in Hell Realm.

Meanwhile, The Origin of Belgae Pack challenges you to undertake the rites of the ancient messenger, discover what's responsible for making a terrible noise and use a photo of a faery to solve a mystery.

Download The Fear in the Night Pack to discover what is causing O'Connell's nightmares. You'll also wake Charlotte from a deep sleep, undertake the mysterious quest to find out why Livane attacked a tree and complete the Faery Photo mission started in The Origin of Belgae Pack.

Last, but by no means least is The Visions of the Tower pack where you'll learn the reason behind the puzzling sightings of the tower, find out why so many faeries are becoming lost, receive a surprise letter and begin to understand the motives of the Faery Lord.

Each pack also includes additional Folk to defeat and special costumes for Keats and Ellen, and all are available for a low price exclusively from PlayStation Network.
