The fightback begins
Visit PlayStation Store this weekend to download the Mass Effect 3 demo and fire the first shots in the war to take Earth back. Bioware's sci-fi epic is out in less than a month and you can grab this free taster of the battles that lie ahead.
You'll get a chance to experience the game's groundbreaking interactive storytelling, adrenaline-pumping action and deep customization, not to mention the ruthless and intelligent enemies that lie in wait. You can also check out a couple of the game's multiplayer maps by jumping into four-player co-operative missions.
Discover humanity's true enemy
Continue the fight in the Binary Domain demo, also available to download this weekend from PlayStation Store. This time, the setting is a robot-invaded Tokyo in the year 2080. As the lines start to blur between man and machine, you must fight your way thought the city's robotic defences and find out who is creating highly advanced humanoids that are beginning to infiltrate society undetected.
Make your mark in Liberty City
Download Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition on PS3 from PlayStation Store this weekend, which includes the full game along with the two episodes: The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. Play as refugee Niko Bellic, veteran biker Johnny Klebitz and part-time hoodlum Luis Lopez as you delve into the murky underbelly of America's worst city.
Run fast, shoot faster
Straight from the arcades to your PS3 system, The House of the Dead III lands on PlayStation Store this weekend. This fast-paced shooter is more terrifying than ever with enhanced graphics and PlayStation Move support. Playing as either Lisa Rogan or Agent G, you must rescue ex-AMS Agent Thomas Rogan by taking out relentless armies of evil creatures turned loose in a post-apocalyptic world.
The Worms are back in town
Head over to PlayStation Store this weekend to pick up Worms Ultimate Mayhem. Load your weapons and experience a new dimension in destructive, turn-based, cartoon action as you tackle over 60 single player missions, online or local multiplayer for up to four players and unprecedented customization – it's the ultimate 3D Worms collection.
The handheld revolution is nearly here
PlayStation Vita launches in Europe on 22 February 2012 and there are plenty of ways for you to gear up for the release of the brand new handheld system that will revolutionise gaming on the go.
