The PlayStation Community gets creative

PlayStation®3

Check out our pick of the Portable IDs created by the PlayStation Community to celebrate the launch of our new Portable ID section.

Portable IDs are available exclusively from eu.playstation.com/psn/mypsn on PC and give you the chance to show off your favourite game, current mood and trophy collection to the rest of the PlayStation Community and beyond.

In April 2011, we asked the PlayStation Community to design their very own Portable ID theme and post it on the official PlayStation Forums at community.eu.playstation.com. Here's our pick from more than 600 entries submitted:

"This design was inspired by Minecraft. I absolutely love this game which is why I included it in my Portable ID. What I like about Portable IDs is that you can implement them on your own website and show everyone how many trophies you've gathered. One of my favourite PlayStation games is MotorStorm Apocalypse, although I don't really have a single favourite because good games are always worth playing!" (TheKolmag!, Germany)

"I like Portable IDs because of the variety on offer, meaning there's something to suit all tastes. The design was inspired by Japanese culture, with the addition of a discreet tattoo. My favourite Portable ID is Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and my favourite game is White Knight Chronicles II." (Darknamy, France)

"The inspiration for my Portable ID came from my girlfriend. She likes cute drawings of food such as cakes, sushi and sweets and I wanted to please her. My favourite PlayStation games are Heavy Rain and echochrome." (Nidjusan, Russia)

Visit eu.playstation.com/psn/mypsn on PC now to pick up any of these Portable IDs alongside our selection of themes for some of the hottest games around and designs exclusive to PlayStation Plus members.
