As the number of levels created by the LittleBigPlanet community smashes the 4 million barrier, we salute our favourites.
LittleBigPlanet launched in 2008 with the promise of unlimited scope for creativity – and a community quickly grew and embraced it. Now, with LittleBigPlanet on PSP and LittleBigPlanet 2 on PlayStation 3 broadening the possibilities even further, there are over four million examples of your genius, which you can check out at lbp.me.
Here, we list some of our favourite experiences.
Unhearted: Drake's Misfortune 2
By Gruntosuk
Create your own adventure, or pay tribute to some of the very best around with LittleBigPlanet. User Gruntosuk has gone for the latter, with this rip-roaring take on the classic Uncharted games.

Pinball of a Better Tomorrow
By StrangePom
Fancy yourself as a pinball wizard? Then try out this finely crafted take on tabletop action, set on a huge board full of traps and bonus bumpers designed to extend your experience.
In a nice touch, up to three friends can help you by taking control of extra flippers to help you nail those high scores. The carefree nature of LittleBigPlanet is cleverly captured and mixed with the madcap appeal of classic pinball.

Mini Golf
By halestorm_6
Charm and challenge are provided in equal measure by this top-down reconstruction of a round of golf. Its nine holes can be attempted alone or with up to three friends.
Even the mighty Tiger Woods in his prime would struggle on courses made of giant cream cakes – while its custard bunkers would trap him for sure. Flourishes like boisterous crowd noise make this all the more addictive.

Rogue Panda Rescue
By JACKOFCOURSE
Escaped pandas are running amok through a burning house, and it's your job to round up every last one of the cheeky bears, rooting them out and grabbing them to make them teleport back to the zoo.
Hilarity ensues as you drag the bamboo-chomping pandas from their hiding places using the Grappling Hook – although things heat up as the Chinese themed house is gradually engulfed by flames...

Magnetic Fields
By Poms
Pilot Sackboy's Controlinator through an obstacle course that requires nimble reflexes and swift thought. Hitting the R1 button switches on a powerful electromagnetic current which latches onto ball bearings, and you can drag them onto pressure pads which unlock doors to progress.
As you venture deeper into the level, you need to solve conundrums of increasing complexity to proceed, in what is a slick, satisfying creation.

Sackrificed
By Morgana65
Condemned as a sacrificial offering to an angry volcano, Sackboy is trapped in an underground formation of lava rivers and falling boulders. Using the Grappling Hook to painstakingly winch up to safety, you must prevent Sackboy being reduced to scorched hessian fibres.
Creator Morgana65 has even included a special sticker as a bonus to those who complete this level in one piece.

Little Dead Space
By DarknessBear
Another neatly judged parody of a much loved game, Little Dead Space sees cuddly hero Isack Clarke fight his way through the infested remains of a galactic freighter.
Flashing lights and klaxons set the scene, and a pitch perfect Zero Gravity Zone sequence recalls one of the best puzzles in the original Dead Space. A shining example of the creative possibilities offered by LittleBigPlanet.

The Bunker
By Poms
Jump over flaming logs, spatter bosses with paint pellets and rocket through narrow passages: it's all in a day's work for Sackboy in The Bunker.
The second entry by prolific creator Poms in our list, this is one of the most popular user-created levels on lbp.me. Try it yourself and witness a wealth of detail and intricate puzzles that'll keep you coming back for more.

Sky Fighter: Jet Simulator
By Rodrigo_Filipino
Strikingly pure visuals mask a jet fighter game that will test even the most hardened top gun. Glowing yellow silhouettes are the enemy planes you must blast out of beautiful blue skies, all the while avoiding the missiles homing in on your position.
Each new level brings an even steeper challenge, until the game is a blur of light trails and explosions.
