Dreaming of 3D on PS3

Having glimpsed at the wonders of 3D gaming on PlayStation 3, the official PlayStation community joins the discussion.

Following on from International CES 2010 where Sony revealed the new range of BRAVIA televisions that will support 3D gaming and movies, the official PlayStation community allowed itself a moment to dream of which classic PS3 titles they would like to see using this innovative technology.

1. Killzone 2
"Just because it's the best FPS and most of my collection are FPS titles." (GigaBowser007, Belgium)

2. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
"This game is already jaw-dropping, its beauty, the detail on its landscapes; in 3D it would certainly be spectacular." (blueyes25, Portugal)

3. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
"MGS4 already has all of the dramatic camera angles that would work very well in 3D and would work perfectly in my opinion." (PheoniX-J-five, United Kingdom)

4. Flower
"A very interesting game and the transformation into 3D would bring a greater feeling of real flight; the fields could sort of spread out from the screen, and the petals could fly into the room." (RX12hidro, Russia)

5. Gran Turismo 5
"Gran Turismo 5, because you'd be part of the action with a steering wheel and first person, in-car view." (mrfight67, United Kingdom)

6. WipEout HD
"I had the chance to look at WipEout HD in 3D at the last IFA [International radio exhibition in Berlin] and it looked amazing. Unfortunately, I couldn't play it on my own but I would really like to do so one day." (Tsukasa2k7, Germany)

7. Modern Warfare 2
"Shooters in general but if I have to choose, it has to be Modern Warfare 2. I want to feel what it's like to be shot at, bullets flying around you, debris flying off with every explosion." (IperBELGIUM, Belgium)

8. LittleBigPlanet
"Just imagine Sackboy getting in and out of your TV and running around a world you could see in your own room." (erprimo10, Spain)

9. Motorstorm Pacific Rift
"It's based on pure adrenaline and would be super fun to see it in 3D. Water everywhere! Mud! Clashing doors! Crashes!" (hikomun, Italy)

10. Grand Theft Auto IV
"Imagine sitting on your sofa and being inside a great Metropolis such as Liberty City." (Zascaaaaaa, Spain)
