Jak's back, baby. Get ready for his biggest, most exciting adventure yet!
Some people are never grateful. Despite being saved from Kor and the attacking Metal Heads in Jak II, Haven City is still immersed in deadly chaos as three groups fight for control of the streets and Jak is getting the blame.
Mistrust of Jak's dark powers, rumours of an alliance with Kor and an attack on the city all conspire to have our hero banished to the desolate Wasteland. This is where Jak 3 begins, and it's up to you to put things right.
The Wasteland is a harsh environment that's an amazing five times the size of Haven City, including diverse, challenging areas for Jak to negotiate such as mines and a deadly volcano. For Jak to succeed in his missions you'll need to master different game styles incorporating driving, adventure, action-platform, puzzles, strategy and exploration skills.
Vehicles play a large role in the game, as through the course of their adventure Jak and his trusty wisecracking sidekick Daxter will discover a variety of transport.
You'll also get to grips with a greater degree of character complexity. In addition to controlling Daxter at several points during the game, you can use Jak's new Light powers as a result of him being exposed to Light Eco - including a new move that allows Jak to glide with the addition of large angelic wings.
Don't panic though, this doesn't mean Jak's suddenly become a goody two-shoes. His Dark powers also return, so you'll need to find a balance between Light and Dark - not to mention fire off all of his weapons from Jak II, which have received a new set of devastating upgrades.
Jak 3 is the most challenging, exciting adventure that Jak and Daxter have ever faced - and with his new powers, not to mention the Titan Suit and Jetboard, they can succeed and clear Jak's name. They just need your help...
- New Light powers complement Jak's darker side
- New vehicles and abilities allow Jak to conquer the huge Wasteland
- Play as Daxter at certain points in the story
