Embark on an epic, sea-faring adventure like no other, as Konami's spellbinding RPG series makes its anticipated PS2 debut in Europe.
Set one-and-a-half centuries before the original Suikoden (released on PS one to critical acclaim some seven years ago), Suikoden IV is a vast, sprawling RPG set within a fantasy world. Explore visually arresting 3D environments, undertaking quests, battling monsters, and exploring new lands as the game's enthralling storyline unfolds.
In time-honoured RPG fashion, Suikoden IV sees you interacting with characters (over 100 in total), forming your own party of adventurers and fighting enemies using swords and sorcery. A brand new combat system allows for both one-on-one and group attacks, complete with fancy virtual camera work and dazzling lighting effects.
Uncharted territory in Suikoden IV includes sea as well as land, a first for the groundbreaking series. Set sail into the unknown, captaining huge ships, navigating oceans, and even taking on enemy vessels in ship-to-ship combat.
Away from the game's main storyline, which centres around the mysterious Rune of Punishment, there are plenty of little diversions to keep you entertained such as fishing and dice mini-games.
- Travel around a stunning 3D fantasy world by land or by sea
- Interact with over 100 characters - some heroes, some villains
- Master all new one-on-one and group attacks
