2012 has been an incredible year for PlayStation, and Access Episode 63 takes a look back over a year of highs and, well, more highs from the perspective of the UK's biggest and best PlayStation community.
The year kicked off in earnest on the 22nd February, as the most powerful handheld console in gaming history made its UK debut. The PlayStation Vita came packed with an incredible launch line up, including gorgeous matinee adventure Uncharted: Golden Abyss, slick future racer Wipeout 2048 and physics-bending, steampunk cracker, Gravity Rush.
The episode also looks back over the year's top gaming shows, with highlights from E3 in Los Angeles with community presenter Joe Merrick, who handed the Access mic to Mark Hulmes for the beyond epic Gamescom, and finally to Marcus Beard for a Eurogamer Expo packed full of PS3 awesome.
With games like Assassin's Creed III, Dishonored, Far Cry 3 and Hitman: Absolution lighting up the tail end of 2012 like an impending Mayan apocalypse, it truly has been a year to remember. Enjoy it all over again with PlayStation Access.
