Burnout Paradise demo

Fans of vehicular pandemonium on a grand scale should be geared up for this one: a demo of Electronic Arts' Burnout Paradise has been unleashed from the starting grid. This exhaustive download features a section of Paradise City to barrel around, where you can compete with friends in three online challenges and experience the high speed thrills of extreme racing.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune demo and trailers

If you've yet to experience the Hollywood styled action-adventure world of Nathan Drake, with its treasure hunting thrills, gun-toting shoot-outs and head-scratching puzzles, there are a variety of downloads to let you pick up the trail. The demo gives you a taste of what it's like to become an action craving fortune hunter across forgotten temples, luscious jungles and azure oceans.

Should you want to delve behind the scenes of Naughty Dog's pulp-adventure, there are also four new trailers of the game: Introducing Naughty Dogs, Hunting El Dorado, Facial Animation and Making the Game. Introducing Naughty Dogs familiarises you with the talented team behind Uncharted, who also act as our guide through the following trailers.

The Hunting El Dorado trailer shows Drake and his companion Victor "Sully" Sullivan searching for the entrance to ruins that may host the fabled treasure of El Dorado, while the Facial Animation trailer gives us a glimpse at the exhaustive work taken to make the detailed and realistic faces of Uncharted's gracefully animated cast. Finally, the Making the Game trailer is a fascinating look into how the power of the PlayStation 3 system made the complex design and ideas of Uncharted possible.

PAIN trailer

Don't worry - despite its rather portentous title, PAIN is all about dishing out agony rather than having to endure it... for the player, at least. This hilarious game has you launching your character from a rubber band catapult into a busy city, with the intent of causing as much destruction and turmoil as possible. You can see what PAIN holds in store for you by checking out this trailer: it's bound to get you cringing and wincing for all the right reasons.

MotorStorm game extras

MotorStorm is a game that keeps on giving, with two more downloadable packs to increase your enjoyment of the offroad racing romp. The Rascal & Governor pack adds two vehicles, the Wasabi Rascal ATV and the Atlas Governor Big Rig, both with three different livery styles.

The Crazy Samurai & QuickFoot pack features paint jobs from both team liveries for the seven classic MotorStorm vehicle classes: Wasabi Wildcat MX Bike, Wasabi Phoenix ATV, Jester Super BXR Buggy, Ozutsu Diamyo Racing Truck, Patriot Renegade Rally Car, Patriot Bushwhacker Mudplugger and Patriot Thunderchief BigRig.
