Online gaming is free once you sign up to PLAYSTATION Network.
Many PLAYSTATION 3 games have online features that let you join with friends to achieve specific goals or challenge other players to find out who's top dog once and for all.
Playing online is free and simple to do once you've signed in to PLAYSTATION Network, and there are no subscription charges; simply go to the Main Menu in your chosen game and, as long as it has online features, select the specific online play mode you'd like to access.
You'll be able to choose from a number of options and, as long as there are other people online, you'll be playing in no time at all. Some games let you invite specific friends to play with - again, follow the on-screen menus and, before you know it, you'll be taken right to the heart of the action.
