Take a look at the new Buzz! and SingStar titles for PlayStation 2 on show at Leipzig.

Buzz! The Hollywood Quiz
Focusing on recent Hollywood movies and all-time classics, Buzz is bringing his popular quiz format to The Oscars. 5000 showbiz questions are at the heart of his new PlayStation 2 outing, brainteasers covering celebrity photos, sound bites, quotes and trivia.

New contestants, caricatures of the heroes and heroines of the silver screen, battle it out in a new OSCAR themed stage set, while new round types, such as Hollywood Stars and Fact or Fiction, add fresh gameplay to the show.

A quiz about the movies would not be complete without clips and Buzz! The Hollywood Quiz boasts questions on over 100 film clips... and the questions don't end with the movies, the lives and loves of the stars are also fair game.

Buzz! Junior: Monster Rumble
For younger attendees of Leipzig, there was equally intense and often more frantic Buzzer action with the third instalment in the Buzz! Junior line.

Monster Rumble follows the antics of four mischievous, well... Monsters, set loose in a mansion. Escaping from the lab in which they were created, each Monster is trying to outdo his fellows and become top dog, erm... Monster.

Gameplay follows the fantastic formula of previous Buzz! Junior titles - you set how long you want to play and then compete in successive rounds to discover who, in this case is top Monster. This time there are 25 different games to play and using the Create Your Monster feature, you will be able to build your own creation in the lab, manipulating the number of eyes, type of arms, legs, horns, ears, etc.

SingStar
SingStar was impossible to miss at Leipzig. One of the centre pieces of the SCEE stand, the SingStar stage saw a constant influx of the enthusiastically talented and enthusiastically untalented. Many classics were preformed, sometimes perfectly, sometimes appallingly, in both German and English from dawn till dusk.

Simplicity is the big appeal of SingStar; just select a song and grab the mic. As the words and original music video for the song plays in the background, your singing is scored on pitch and timing.

On show at Games Convention was a medley of the latest SingStar titles, from SingStar '90s and SingStar Rock Ballads to SingStar R&B and SingStar Die Toten Hosen, there was something for everyone.

German rock band Die Toten Hosen were there in person too, performing the SingStar version of their song Steh Auf, Wenn Du Am Boden Bist at the SCEE conference.
