Read on for all the info on Europe's biggest games event, the Leipzig Games Convention.
The profile of the Leipzig Games Convention has been steadily rising over recent years - and with the scaling back of the famed E3 convention in Los Angeles, this year's event in Germany is attracting more attention than ever.
Unlike E3, Leipzig is designed to give the public a look at the games the world's software publishers hope will be flying off the shelves this Christmas. What's more, the games on show have benefitted from a little extra development time, making Leipzig a much better place to try and predict exactly which games are set to be the best come release day.
Leipzig calling
In 2006 the show was a great success, where among other things, people got their first good look at Pro Evolution Soccer 6, Guitar Hero II and the then unreleased PlayStation 3.
This year, Leipzig GC is set to be even bigger. PlayStation 3 continues to go from strength to strength, and big games such as Rock Band, Grand Theft Auto IV, Killzone 2 and Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction are all shaping up to create a killer software line up.
PSP (PlayStation Portable) won't be short of highlights as it approaches its second birthday, either. Keep an eye on eu.playstation.com for all the latest developments on PSP - with games like God of War: Chains of Olympus and Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow on display you'd be well advised to pay the site a visit if you can't make it to the show yourself.
There's set to be a number of new announcements regarding PSP and PlayStation 3 as well, along with developer interviews, pictures from the show floor and first hand impressions of all the latest games. Whatever happens, be sure to keep an eye on eu.playstation.com over the coming weeks, to stay on top of all the show's highlights.
