God of War: Chains of Olympus, Jeanne d'Arc and SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALS Tactical Strike, kick off E3 for PSP.
With a new model of PSP - slimmer and, in terms of load times for new games, faster - just announced at E3 in Santa Monica, here's a look at the new PSP titles on offer.
God of War: Chains of Olympus
Sparta's tragic warrior returns in his debut on PSP. Chains of Olympus is being developed by Ready At Dawn Studios, the talented developers responsible for Daxter on PSP, in conjunction with SCEA's Santa Monica Studios, the team behind God of War on PS2.
Taking place after he is tricked into killing his wife and daughter, God of War: Chains of Olympus follows Kratos' servitude to the Gods and his struggle for absolution.
Jeanne d'Arc
A strategy RPG from the creators of the critically acclaimed Rogue Galaxy, Jeanne d'Arc is set against a mythical backdrop inspired by the life of Joan of Arc and the Hundred Year's War, the brutal 15th Century conflict between England and France.
Featuring grid-based tactical combat, Jeanne d'Arc will allow you to implement special attacks and defensive strategies in turn-based battles. With the story colourfully brought to life through animated, anime-like cutscenes and detailed environments, the rich blend of history and fantasy will deliver hours of strategic RPG action.
SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALS Tactical Strike
This acclaimed series takes a new direction on PSP, embracing the real-time strategy genre. Tactical Strike will enable you to assume the role of an entire team of elite Special Forces. Evaluating the situation from your troops' perspective, you can plan and execute your strategy.
For the first time in SOCOM you can play a range of international Special Forces - UK, Australia, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, South Korea and the Netherlands - all supported with their native languages.
