RSS on PSP allows you to tune in, download and chill out with downloadable audio music and entertainment on the move. Kick start the sounds of your summer here.
For those wondering what RSS is, it stands for Really Simple Syndication, allowing you to create a direct link to your favourite audio content on web pages. The audio content is accessed over the Internet and streamed on PSP or downloaded to your Memory Stick Duo. The latest audio item will be shown automatically and previous items will be listed.
The best place to start for audio is, of course, music - an aural reflection of our emotions, captured perfectly within beats, rhythms and sounds. PSP has always had the capability to store your favourite audio files on Memory Stick Duo but PSP system software updates have opened up the world of streamed audio to your PSP via the Internet.
The latest system software updates allow audio streams to be saved to Memory Stick Duo for listening to at your leisure in the park or on the move during our summer of sound in 2008.
To set up an RSS link either enter your favourite RSS URL into the PSP Internet Browser or navigate to a web page with an RSS button. Once entered or navigated to, PSP will prompt you to add the stream as one of your RSS channels. Here are a few links to get you started.
