Modern Warfare 2 explodes onto PlayStation 3, Pro Evolution Soccer goes portable and three minis land in PlayStation Store.
Answer the call of duty
Fans of first-person shooters might be difficult to contact this weekend. Modern Warfare 2, the sequel to 2007 blockbuster, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, is out on PlayStation 3.
Set immediately after the events of the previous game, the single player portion provides a gripping, cinematic story taking in fictional battlefields across Russia, Brazil and other war-torn locations. Like its predecessor, it also features addictive multiplayer modes and an array of unlockable perks.
After kicking off the new season on PS3, PES 10 arrives on PlayStation 2 and PSP, letting you take your team on the road and play any time, anywhere.
For PSP owners there are three minis titles - Circles Circles Circles, D-Cube Planet and Bubble Trubble - available for download. You can also get a sneak peek at Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier by downloading the demo from PlayStation Store.
