For fighting fans, Virtua Fighter has been an institution ever since it first hit the arcade scene in the 1990s - and now it's back on PlayStation 3. Virtua Fighter 5 raises the beat ‘em up bar with incredible next generation visuals and a fighting system that's deep enough to keep you playing for months.
Two new characters join the line-up, adding new fighting styles to the game. El Blaze is a Mexican wrestling champion, while Eileen is a Chinese expert in Monkey Kung Fu. As with previous Virtua Fighter games, each character offers enough attack combinations and depth to make true mastery a rewarding, ongoing process - just like real martial arts, only not as painful. A new ‘Offensive Move' technique adds even more strategy to encounters by allowing you to move around your opponent to dodge blows and launch new strikes.
Harnessing the graphical power of PlayStation 3, Virtua Fighter 5 delivers stunning arenas, detailed characters and amazingly lifelike, fluid animation, making bouts more spectacular than ever before. What's more, a huge amount of customisation options allow you to tailor your favourite character's appearance.
