The X-Men return to PlayStation 2 in their most thrilling and dangerous adventure to date, which provides the back-story for 20th Century Fox's upcoming film - X-Men: The Last Stand. For the first time ever, the game allows you to truly command the awesome powers of your favourite characters from the X-Men universe, including Nightcrawler, Iceman and the mighty Wolverine.

Hack and slash with Wolverine's brute strength and Adamantium claws to decimate foes; scale walls, spin and teleport through environments to stay one step ahead of enemies as Nightcrawler; and experience incredible speed on Iceman's ice slide while shooting ice beams and creating hailstorms to freeze your enemies. For even more power, players can utilise fury and adrenaline modes to launch devastating attacks.

Along the way you'll battle fierce enemies, join forces with X-Men comrades and face off against villains from both the movie and beyond as favourite X-Men allies join forces with the player in gameplay that includes melee fighting, stealth-style action and time-based missions.

Co-written by Zak Penn, co-screenwriter for the feature film, and legendary comic book writer, Chris Claremont, the game will immerse you in an original storyline that serves as a prelude to the upcoming movie
